Democrats’ radical soft-on-crime policies have led to a spike in crime nationwide. Deadly drugs are flowing into our neighborhoods, and increased violent crime has led businesses to close. It’s no wonder many Americans don’t feel safe in their communities – and that’s not right.

West Virginia is a law-and-order state. Governor Justice’s top priority is to protect West Virginians, and the best way to do that is by supporting our men and women in law enforcement, not defunding the police. 

Governor Justice is proud to have supported more pay for law enforcement in West Virginia and will always have their backs. Backing the blue means ensuring officers have what they need to do their jobs and keep us safe.

Protecting West Virginians also means tackling the root causes of crime and supporting those struggling with addiction. As Governor, Jim Justice was proud to oversee measures to crack down on drug trafficking, address substance abuse prevention and treatment, and provide those in recovery with the opportunity to obtain career training and secure meaningful employment. It’s time lawmakers act to stop drugs from pouring in across our border and expand access to mental health and substance abuse care.
