The Democrats’ disastrous COVID policies and obsession with wokeness have led to a generation of young people struggling in school. Our kids are our future. These policies must stop.

We must return to the basics like reading, writing, and math instead of wasting valuable resources and time on divisive and controversial political indoctrination. We must let kids be kids and keep politics out of the classroom.  

We must also ensure all our schools have the resources to properly teach our children and prepare them for careers in the 21st century.

As Governor, Jim Justice made education West Virginia’s centerpiece and was proud to have increased teacher and school service personnel pay four times and expanded access to computer science education for all West Virginia students. In addition, he expanded school choice with more charter schools and micro-schools and signed legislation to create the Hope Scholarship so parents and children can choose the education path that best meets their needs.

In the Senate, he will work to restore local control of education, cut down the federal education bureaucracy, and promote funding for career and technical education.
